Sound control: mineral wool provides superior sound control in critical areas such as bedrooms, home theaters and bathrooms. Fire resistant: fire resistant to temperatures above 2,000°F (1,093°C). Thermal comfort: mineral wool provides excellent thermal properties in a variety of R-values to meet building codes and wall types (2 x 4 and 2 x 6). Recycled content: composed of up to 70% recycled material, recycled content verified by ICC-ES.
