For cork underlayment 3/8 in. or thicker, coverage using a 1/8 in. x 1/8 in. x 1/16 in. flat-top-V-notch trowel is approximately 90 to 110 sq. ft. per gal.. For cork underlayment 3/8 in. or less, coverage using a 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. square-notch trowel is approximately 170 to 190 sq. ft. per gal..
