Description

Dunham’s Premium Choice Latex Flat is odorless and provides smooth performance in latex coatings and enjoys the ultimate in service, quality and superior application. It provides a smooth, tough luster that's every bit as durable as it is beautiful. The Premium’s Choice Latex Flat has an excellent surface for scrubbing, effortless application, spatters resistance, remarkable durability and flexibility, dries fast and is absolutely odorless. The Premium’s Choice Latex Flat is safe to use as it is formulated without lead or mercury and is non-flammable. The Premium’s Choice Latex Flat resists dirt and stains and can be washed repeatedly. It can be applied over dry surfaces such as wood, masonry, wallpapered surfaces, cement block, wallboard, new or coated acoustical ceilings, painted and unpainted metal or wood.

Surface Preparation:

Prepared surfaces should be cleaned and free of dust, dirt, wax, grease, and mildew and water soluble material. Remove all flaking, peeling or powdering paint, whitewash or calcimine. Dull down high gloss surfaces with sandpaper or steel wool. On exterior surfaces, remove chalking condition through thorough wire brushing if priming, tint primer to color similar to finish coat. UNPAINTED WOOD: Should be primed with Dunham's Latex Primer. UNPAINTED PLASTER, WALLBOARD AND MASONRY: Allow new plaster or masonry to cure at least 30 days before painting. Prime with Dunham's Latex Primer. PAINTED SURFACES: Fill and sand all cracks and nail holes, then spot prime. Extremely porous surfaces or walls with extensive patching should be primed with Dunham's Latex Primer.

Application:

Stir contents of can carefully to a smooth consistency without thinning. Apply with brush, spray or roller, working from unpainted area into wet area. Do not touch-up until paint is dry. Thinning is not usually necessary; If required thin with no more than a half pint of clean water per gallon.

Coverage:

Apply at rate of 350-450 square feet per gallon.

Drying Time:

2-4 hours to touch, 12 hours to recoat, 48 hours before washing

Cleanup:

Wash equipment with warm, soapy water promptly after use.

Caution:

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. CLOSE CONTAINER AFTER EACH USE. AVOID PROLONGED CONTACT WITH SKIN OR BREATHING OF SPRAY MIST. KEEP FROM FREEZING.

Warning:

If you scrape sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC, EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. Additional Info:

Do not add paint thinners, oil colors or alkyd colors. Do not mix with any other type of paint. Stir well, but do not shake or whip. Do not paint when the temperature is below 50 degrees F.
